Where is Lakes Laser Tag? We're at the YMCA North Camp at Lakeside, near Newby Bridge in the southern Lake District, right beside Lake Windermere. We're about 20 minutes from Bowness-on-Windermere, 25 minutes from Kendal and 30 minutes from Barrow-in-Furness, just off the A590. There's free parking on site — the car park is at what3words ///dignitary.detection.lizards, and it's signposted from there.

Sessions cost £23 per person for a two-hour experience, paid by card online or on the day. Groups of 8 or more can book our party option, and exclusive private hire of the whole arena is available from £460 — call us on 01539 261272 to arrange.
-
Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 4pm, all year round. During the summer school holidays we open an additional weekday too — check our booking page for current dates.

Everyone aged 6 and over can play. Groups with under-8s need at least one parent or guardian playing with them, and under-16s must have a parent or guardian remain on site. Kids, parents and grandparents regularly play together — it's genuinely an all-ages activity.
-
No. Laser tag is completely no-contact — nothing is fired at you, so there's no impact and no bruises, unlike paintball. It's ideal for younger children and anyone who doesn't fancy being hit with a paintball.
-
We play in all weathers — it's the Lake District! The woodland arena gives natural shelter, and honestly the games are just as much fun in the rain. Bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. Many visitors tell us we're one of the best rainy-day activities in the Lakes.

Outdoor clothes you don't mind getting a bit muddy, and sturdy footwear (trainers or walking boots). We provide camouflage gear free of charge.

Two hours, covering several different team games including Capture the Flag, VIP, Betrayal and Domination, all run by our Field Marshalls.
